Black on Black
Black and black has become my go-to outfit. There are so many ways to rock an all black look! It comes in handy when you have just a few minutes to get ready or you are having “one of those days” and you just feel like breaking your head trying to figure out what to wear. My personal favorite is wearing an all-black outfit with a pop of something. This can be a pair of cool earrings, a statement purse, or in this case a pair of fun shoes! I was so excited to wear my new velvet floral booties in NYC and immediately knew that I wanted them to be the main attraction of my outfit. I went for the more cool, chic and comfy vibes and paired my booties with a slip on skirt (leggings under) and a chunky turtleneck sweater (t-shirt under) for the cold and threw on my ride-or-die leather jacket. Luckily this day was the warmest during my stay in NYC.
Gold Hits
I’m not gonna lie, I am major backed up on some outfit looks. But hey, like that say… better late than never. I will be sharing with you a couple outfits I rocked in NYC last month. The temperature was beginning to drop, so I was super excited to look as much “fall-ish” as possible. I scored this beautiful ruffle-silky top at the antique flea market a few months back and was extremely excited to wear it in NYC. Love the Victorian, lady-like vibes! That’s exactly why I decided to edge it up with a classic pair of mom jeans (DIY’d raw hem) and sexy boots. I wanted to enhance gold details so I threw on my favorite sunnies and olive purse from Who What Wear Collection for Target and a pair of goldie hoop earrings. As the evening approached, I added my black faux leather jacket to complete the look.

Coffee Head
As I continue to learn new ways to transform my blog into something less forced and instead more organic, I wanted to switch it up and talk a little bit about me. One fun fact about me is that I am a huge coffee head. If you follow me on Instagram, you probably already know that. I find myself drinking coffee every single morning to keep me motivated for the new day. Yeah I know, might sound a little exaggerated or sad, but seriously the taste and smell of coffee brings so much joy to my heart. Saturday’s are personally my favorite. David and I enjoy discovering new coffee spots around our local area. Since we can’t go during the week, we take advantage of the weekends to venture out to different locations. Shhh, don’t tell no one but I am secretly on a mission to discover the best coffee shop with the yummiest cappuccino in he Bay. Would you like to see a blog post naming a few of my current favorite coffee shops? LMK! 🙂
