Fall Wants

1. Sweater weather! One of the many reasons why I love fall is because I get to wear chunky sweaters. I am such a sucker for fun sweaters especially when they have fun details such as embellishments, textures, etc. This season sleeve details are everything! I love this hunter green sweater with oversized sleeves. It's such a fun detail to a basic sweater. 

2. Hot Red! Yes, Red is the color of the season. So I've been eyeing cool red staples I can add to my wardrobe. This red blazer is smoking hot. It's the perfect classic style, yet fun and trendy at the same time. I can totally wear it forever! Plus, love it that blazers can be easily dressed up or down in any occasion. 

3. Nike Cortez are so dope and comfy af! I have the classic white and black one but I really want these! This color way is so pretty. Love the neutral tone. These might just be the perfect replacement to my white sneakers for the fall season. 

4. More sweaters! I mean, why not? These color turtleneck sweater is a must in everyones closet. It's the most versatile color and style. You can throw this sweater on with jeans, skirt, over a dress, etc.! 

5. Sexy skirt - yaaasss please! Loving everything about this little piece. I can totally use a sexy faux skin printed skirt in my life! From the print to the material to the details... it's BEAUTIFUL! Again, you can roc this baby with boots or sneakers and look equally as chic! Love fun skirts that can become staples in your wardrobe. 

6. Beret baby. The other "it" hat of the season. These cut little hats are going to everywhere this fall and winter. I've scored a few nice colors so far, but this burnt orange beret is calling my name! It's gorgeous! Plus, orange is my favorite color, duh?! 

7.  Gucci waist bag, am I dreaming rn? This wait bag is perfection. Self explanatory. My birthday is coming up... November 27th, just sayin'. ;)  

8. Sunnies in the Fall? In Cali, YES! These cat eyed babies are so FINE they need to be MINE! I don't have anything like these and would be the perfect amount of bad ass for my ootd's! I'm sure I can get lot's of use of them in the summer too. 

9. Like I said, RED is HOT! I've been on a hunt for some red booties and these babies are really speaking to me. I like the silky sock look, especially because I don't own anything like these! As silly as it may sounds, red has really become a neutral color in a wardrobe. I can basically rock red booties with anything and everything. 

10. Going mad for plaid! I mean how cute are these pants with flirty ruffles at the bottom?! I can even wear them with the #4 sweater and throw on some dark brown boots. So cute huh!

It was finally the A.CHAL CONCERT ahhhh GAZ MODE! *sorry fan girl moment* - David and I went for a nice dinner at Gracias Madre in the Mission before heading to the show, so of course we snapped a quick OOTD on our way there.

For this outfit, I definitely stepped out of my comfort zone! I had this pretty cool fishnet top I scored at Zara for only $10 a few months back and immediately knew I wanted to rock it with a cute brallete underneath. This brallete from Lively has been my go-to bra for a few months now. It's seriously amazinggg! Its comfy af & very chic in my opinion. Although I knew how I wanted to rock the top, it took me quite a while to build courage to actually do it. The top was a bit riskayyy compared to my everyday style but I really wanted to challenge myself and break my fear of wearing something out of my ordinary. So, I said "fuck it, YOLO"! 

The It Hat For Fall

Baker Boy Hat or as I like to call them Selena Hats, are making a major come back this Fall ya'll - and I LOVE IT! I've always been a huge fan of hats especially during the fall season so I love it when new trendy hats come up. It's a great excuse to not care about my hair for a day and instead rock a cute hat. :)

Graphic tee + Vintage jeans = BASICS ; aka my favorite thing to wear! Seriously, if you are ever feeling rushed to get out the house for a casual day date, you can never go wrong with rocking your favorite graphic tee & a pair of good jeans. Simple as that! This tee right here is borrowed from David’s closet. Lol! Yes you read that correct. We picked it up from a Uniqlo in Tokyo and since I helped him choose it, well I think I deserve to borrow it when I wish right?!  ;) I think it’s super cute & the colors are nice and vibrant! Since I was going for a chill vibe, I wore my go-to straight jeans and metallic low heels for pure comfort – yet, chic af

Denim into Fall

It saddens me to think that our summer days are slowly coming to an end! No lie, I am a HUGE fan of the fall season - so it's more like a bittersweet. But I still have a few more looks I wanna share with you and time is sorta rushing me!

As you may already know, denim skirts are a major staple in my wardrobe. I love how versatile they are and how you can take them from day to night reaaaal quick! Therefore, transitioning this little item into the fall won't be so tough after all. For example, I can take this outfit above and switch up the ruffle off-the-sholder top for a cozy jumper and keep everything else! I would also spice up the outfit with statement earnings to add the perfect glam touch. The Bay Area is fairly nice during the next few weeks as we transition to more rain, so you can definitely get away with a cozy top and bare legs at the bottom.

Day Trip to Sebastopol

Our day trip to Sebastopol, CA was a total success! Let me just say - we regretted not planning to stay for the entire weekend. We started our day trip with of course, some AMAZING champagne tasting at Iron Horse Vineyards. IT WAS SO BOMB! Iron Horse left David and I totally in love with their hospitality, their location and most importantly their drinks. We hung around for a couple hours and headed to downtown for an early dinner. We decided to go for pizza (duh?!) so we hit up Vignette Pizzeria. It was also hella good! We each got our own pizza, because I def don't like to share. :) After our delicious meal, David was still feeling kinds wild so we stopped by Woodfour Brewery from some craft beer, which was only a few building next door. David and I enjoyed every second of our beer and golden hour together. It was perfect. We laughed, talked, cuddled and took lots of pictures. After a few beers, it was time for some dessert! We visited the one and only, Screamin' Mimi's, which was also just a few block down! It was perfect. Mimi's ice cream was poppin'!! David got the blueberry flavor and I got the mocha chocolate chip one - so so good! 

Sebastopol was definitely a great city to visit for a day trip or weekend getaway. With the numerous amount of places to eat & drink, I will totally need to come again to visit new ones.

In the Bay, even summer days can get a bit chilly. So rockin’ a sweatshirt or edgy hoodie with a chic skirt is my shitttt! I would totally rock this on a chill Friday evening to hang out with friends or on a casual date with babe. Since I received tons of questions about this Oakland sweatshirt I picked up from Topshop years ago, I decided to list a few sweaters and hoodies that are absolutely dope af! After so much craziness going on in the last couple of weeks, I am finally getting around to share with you all a quick overview of my NYFW experience. As I had mentioned before, it was my very first NYFW this past month and oh myyyyy I am so thankful for the opportunities and memories I made during the time out there! I wore this pretty modern Victorian-esque dress from H&M and paired it with my current favorite sock booties for a sleek look. Since the dress was pretty long, I decided to sneak in a pair of leggings underneath to protect me from the freezing cold. They were seriously a LIFE SAVER!

I must admit, this day was probably one of the craziest for me. My day began early, I was able to get glammed up by Caravan Styling Studio, following with a quick coffee/donut break at Dough with the hubby, then going rushing to the hotel to finish getting dressed and finally adventuring out to the different shows and events. Everything happened so fast. It was a dope experience. Loved all the moments I shared with Carlina and David.

Layers on Layers

When it comes to dressing up for the cold weather, I get a bit hesitant. My goal is to look cute while staying warm. My mom always told, “Manten tus pies calientitos, Daisita!”, so as long as my feet are warm… we good!
As I mentioned in the last post, my trip to PDX was so cold. I think this trip definitely helped me practice my layering skills while staying mobile and fab. I rocked two pair of socks all the time, wore a pair of leggings under my pants, about two tops, plus my coat. I was a happy camper. I also learned that adding fun accessories to your cozy outfit could sometimes help you feel more put together. I went for a fuzzy beanie, sparkly earrings and bold lippies.
