Life in the Ruins
During our stay in Athens, David and I got to visit the breathtaking landmark of the Acropolis. The Acropolis is known as the sacred hill where Greeks built temples, one being the most popular known as the Parthenon that was build to honor the goddess Athena. Our field trip to the Acropolis was a total adventure! It was hella hot that day and to be honest, I was not wearing the best shoes for the intense hike required to get to the summit. But, luckily I survived with no blisters for the day!
Wearing a hat was the greatest idea ever! It protected me so much from the sun. David and I made sure to smother ourselves with layers of sunblock, but the sweat was real, which made us have to keep reapplying sun block. Despite the hot sun, the temperature in the air was wonderfully humid and the occasional breeze provided for a refreshing sensation. Staying hydrated became critical to our endurance while roaming downtown Athens in the Plaka district.

Choker- Chic
Let’s talk about a mega trend that I am sure you’ve seen everywhere… CHOKERS! They are so trendy at the moment, and I absolutely can’t get enough of them. Chokers seriously takes me back to the good ole’ Spice Girl days, when I was also known as Ginger Spice - haha!
As much as I wish I could rock a choker everyday, I try to control the urge and instead choose my choker-outfits wisely. Seriously, I low key wish I could wear a choker everyday. I like to switch up my style every day, so I end up rocking a choker whenever I want to add edge to an outfit without trying too hard.
After window-shopping for the perfect chokers I realized that most of them on the market were so simple and easy to make myself. I picked up a roll of this material from Joann and have been on a DIY-choker hype! If you want to see how I make my homemade chokers, let me know!

My Bach Weekend!
May 20-22, 2016 #DaisysBacheloretteWeekend
A weekend filled with bubbly, laughs, sore feet, hangovers, girl talk, “so LA moments”, twerking, and Uber driver stories.
But waaaaiittt, gotta stop right there because you know what they say… whatever happened in LA, stays in LA. ;)
Thank you so much to all my besties for helping plan such an unforgettable weekend!

Concert ready look
Crop Top: ZARA / Shorts: H&M / Blazer: Vintage / Pumps: Aldo
That one concert that you bought tickets for month ago has finally arrived, and you ask yourself “WHAT THE HECK AM I GOING TO WEAR” I’ve been there, done that. You obviously saved up time and money to attend this concert and of course you want to look cute! Planning the outfit plays a huge factor in your overall experience of the concert. There are a few factors I consider: I need to be able to dance, walk a long distance, and brave the weather. This is what I wore to see my girl Khelani last month at the Warfield in SF. I knew I wanted to dance my ass off without and feel comfortable all night. I wore my loyal black pumps, which added the perfect touch of classy and sexy to my outfit.
Always remember to be you, dress comfortably and feel good.

90's vibes
Blouse: H&M / Shorts: Forever 21 / Platforms: Steve Madden / Purse: H&M
Hiiii! OMG you guys, chokers are making a major comeback and I AM SO JUICED! Growing up in the 90's, I always rocked my cute little chokers from Claire's! I honestly don't know why I stopped wearing them. Seriously, they add so much edge to any basic outfit. It's totally a fun way to play around with our mackalce game and give our ordinary dainty necklaces that can get a bit boring after a while, a break! You can always go for a more simple route, rock a choker with a plain crop top, mom jeans, a pair of converse and a nice brown lipstick! Yesss!

Flare Jeans
Blouse: Thrifted / Jeans: GAP / Platforms: Steve Madden / Sunnies: Urban Outfitters
Flare jeans, also known as “bell-bottoms”. Yessss totally bringing back the bell-bottom jeans and I couldn’t be any happier! It is time to give your favorite skinny jeans a break and have some fun with these babies! Flare jeans can really give you that slimming effect real quick. Oh, and did I forgot to mention it totally elongates your legs without even trying! Heck yeah! I decided to go with the low key 70’s vibes, so I threw on my rounds sunnies for a more drastic look. You can also keep it minimal and pair your flares with a basic tee and pumps. Super chic!! Try it, have fun!

Statement Necklace
Top: GAP / Pants: ASOS / Heels: Just Fab / Necklace: Rocksbox / Purse: Forever 21
Sometimes, it’s all about the details. If you ask me, the best way to spruce up an outfit is by adding a little glam. And when I say “glam” I mean accessories– the most important detail when it comes to putting together a cute outfit. I love piling on my favorite dainty jewelry or arm candy. It’s my favorite way to liven up a simple outfit. However, I must admit, I have been a huge fan of gorgeous statement necklaces. They are just so easy to style! From sparkly collars to chic studs, a pretty necklace is just perfect for those plain outfits.
When styling a statement necklace, it is important to keep the rest of your look simple and sleek. Let the necklace make the statement, and keep the earrings simple.

Straight leg Denim
Pullover Sweater: GAP / Jeans: GAP (sexy ones here) / Clutch: H&M / Heels: BCBG (Marshalls) / Necklace: ALDO / Sunglasses: Forever 21
One of my favorite spring fashion trends is totally the straight-leg & flares denim seen all over the runways! I must admit, I am a huge fan of skinny jeans, but these silhouettes have slowly won my heart (aka closet space). I love the sexy feminine touch it can give any casual top and sneakers, or dress it up with a nice blouse and killer heels. It’s best to have a variety of jean lengths to renovate the look.
Remember; don’t hesitate to try new styles of jeans! It’s always nice to give your favorite skinnies a little break.
Thanks for stopping by! Muaaah!
