During our stay in Athens, David and I got to visit the breathtaking landmark of the Acropolis. The Acropolis is known as the sacred hill where Greeks built temples, one being the most popular known as the Parthenon that was build to honor the goddess Athena. Our field trip to the Acropolis was a total adventure! It was hella hot that day and to be honest, I was not wearing the best shoes for the intense hike required to get to the summit. But, luckily I survived with no blisters for the day!
Wearing a hat was the greatest idea ever! It protected me so much from the sun. David and I made sure to smother ourselves with layers of sunblock, but the sweat was real, which made us have to keep reapplying sun block. Despite the hot sun, the temperature in the air was wonderfully humid and the occasional breeze provided for a refreshing sensation. Staying hydrated became critical to our endurance while roaming downtown Athens in the Plaka district.

The Bay Area has officially been hit with a foggy-cold morning and low-key-chilly-but-sunny in the afternoon wave. No lie, it makes it slightly difficult to pick out an outfit in the morning. You come across being cold in the morning but know that the sun will eventually come out to play for a few hours. Perhaps this is just the beauty of spring? I’ve been gravitating towards a light spring look underneath and jacket just in case it’s super chilly. This look is perfect for a casual day. The white classic sneakers complete the outfit with street style chicness.

Lady chic? Yes, this mini turtleneck top tucked-in made me feel so lady-like! Especially pairing this whole look with the most classic style mid heels ever! I love it! Since I love a good balance of lady vibes and edgy-ness, I decided to rock my new favorite flared ripped jeans for a more comfortable route. I've been really into this style of outfits, they are a perfect balance of effortless glam.

Flare jeans, also known as “bell-bottoms”. Yessss totally bringing back the bell-bottom jeans and I couldn’t be any happier! It is time to give your favorite skinny jeans a break and have some fun with these babies! Flare jeans can really give you that slimming effect real quick. Oh, and did I forgot to mention it totally elongates your legs without even trying! Heck yeah! I decided to go with the low key 70’s vibes, so I threw on my rounds sunnies for a more drastic look. One of my favorite spring fashion trends is totally the straight-leg & flares denim seen all over the runways! I must admit, I am a huge fan of skinny jeans, but these silhouettes have slowly won my heart (aka closet space). I love the sexy feminine touch it can give any casual top and sneakers, or dress it up with a nice blouse and killer heels. It’s best to have a variety of jean lengths to renovate the look.
Remember; don’t hesitate to try new styles of jeans! It’s always nice to give your favorite skinnies a little break.

My boyfriend and I celebrated our anniversary in the most charming little town of Capitola. It was our first time there and we absolutely fell in love. Surrounded by colorful little homes, an amazing beach, cute shops, bakeries and great restaurants with pretty views! It was lovely…
Luckily the weather was just perfect! Nice sunny day with a great refreshing breeze.
Fun fact about me: Before I go on a mini-trip, I like to do a little research. I like to get an idea of what the place sorta looks like, what restaurants/bars I must hit up, what will the weather be like and most importantly… what should I wear?!
I wanted to definitely be comfortable, so jeans and flats were a must! This sweater/coat piece was AMAZING; it was ideal for the weather. Not too heavy not to light, you know? And the COLOR!- wow, made me so happy!

I have developed an immense obsession for turtlenecks! Although you may be thinking turtlenecks are not the coolest tops out there, I must say- they kind of are. For the longest time, turtlenecks have had a wrong reputation for being boring, frumpy and even unflattering. However, when styled right, turtlenecks can actually transform your outfit and look super chic or sexy.
