Adventures in Santorini
After doing some research on Santorini, I realized there was so much see other than the beautiful Oia Town. Santorini is surrounded by breathtaking mountain views, pretty beaches and awesome local breweries. David and I wanted to make the most of our short time in Santorini and discover everything we could. On this day, we drove up to an amazing road that led to this beautiful view. The emotions that we felt being here were indescribable. The feeling was crazy. I remember looking at David and actually hitting us…. We were actually married and traveling together. It was a huge accomplishment for us and truly a dream come true. David and I soaked up every moment of this.
After cruising down the roads of Santorini, we stopped by for a light breakfast before we our drive to Kamari Beach. Kamari beach is known as the black beach of Santorini. It is located in the village of Kamari, on the southeastern part of the Aegean island of Santorini, Greece.
This day was such an adventure. David fell in love with a local beer called Crazy Donkey, a Santorini Brewing Company. We learned that the brewery was not too far from where we were, so we decided to hunt it down! It was so much fun and a bit nerve-wracking since we didn’t have a GPS. To make the long story, short… we found the brewery, David loved it and we even brought some home!

Santorini Diary
We were beyond excited to finally arrive to Santorini, Greece! The island most talked about due to its beautiful photogenic white buildings with and breath taking beaches. David and I landed to Santorini Island by fairy. We were picked up by a taxi bus that drove us to our hotel. While arriving to our hotel, we noticed that it was a bit uphill and in the middle of a busy road. When entering the gate and being escorted to the lobby we couldn’t help but to notice the beautiful view of the Aegean Sea. After a small chat with the hotel hosts, we were led to our room. Walking there was unusual. We walked down a cave-like-alley with low lights and echoing effect. I was kind of freaked out, but hoped that it would just lead us to something beautiful. Once David and I walked into our designated room, we were completely amazzzzed. The room was incredible! We had our own private infinity pool with a beautiful view of the Caldera. It was magical.
The hotel welcomed us with an amazing dinner. Not only was the food excellent, but the view was stunning. David and I sat here for hours, eating, drinking and watching the sunset.
I was so excited to finally wear this super cute maxi dress from Nordstrom Rack! I thought Santorini would be the perfect place to rock it since it gives up a low key nautical feel. The dress was incredibly comfortable and kept me cool during the warm evening.

Life in the Ruins
During our stay in Athens, David and I got to visit the breathtaking landmark of the Acropolis. The Acropolis is known as the sacred hill where Greeks built temples, one being the most popular known as the Parthenon that was build to honor the goddess Athena. Our field trip to the Acropolis was a total adventure! It was hella hot that day and to be honest, I was not wearing the best shoes for the intense hike required to get to the summit. But, luckily I survived with no blisters for the day!
Wearing a hat was the greatest idea ever! It protected me so much from the sun. David and I made sure to smother ourselves with layers of sunblock, but the sweat was real, which made us have to keep reapplying sun block. Despite the hot sun, the temperature in the air was wonderfully humid and the occasional breeze provided for a refreshing sensation. Staying hydrated became critical to our endurance while roaming downtown Athens in the Plaka district.

Athens Diary
After a long flight, David and I finally made it to Athens, Greece for our honeymoon!! Yesss, David and I got married!! (Wedding photos coming soon… J) For those who may not know much about Athens, it is the capital and largest city in Greece. The origins of Athens go back to 3000 BC, making it one of the oldest cities in the world! I know, crazy huh?! Athens is considered the foundation of Western civilization, origin of democracy, Western philosophy, literature, the Olympic Games, political science, mathematics and theatre!
Athens had such a lively, vibrant, and bustling city vibe. The weather was sunny and humid, but every now and then there would be an awesome cool breeze. Our hotel was conveniently located in the middle of the downtown, so David and I walked everywhere! We bought a map and became super comfortable with the area and wasted no time so we got to explore so much in just a few days. The downtown area was our favorite because it was always poppin’!. The highlight for me was the food, bars we went to in Athens and most of all, the long walks late at night with my hubby. It was so easy to feel like a local after the first day. It also helped that Athens natives were incredibly nice and welcoming. I immediately fell in love with this city!
Deliciousness! These are sesame pretzel looking things are called Koulouri. They are a very popular in Greece. Mines was stuffed with FETA cheese!! Mmmm sooo good!!
I had he BEST vegetarian gyro here! Not to mention, the Greek salad was out of this world! So fresh, so amazing! (No lie, we came back more than once. haha! )
David and I loooved walking downtown at night. There was something special about this city after hours.
Gifted by a little girl on the streets. The moment was precious.

San Francisco Premium Outlets
Woah! It’s already May, which means that Mother’s day is literally right around the corner. Time to spoil all the hot mamas out there!
Dia de las Madres, also known, as Mother’s Day is a very special day in Mexico. It is celebrated on May 10th every year, whereas, the American Mother’s Day, is celebrated every second Sunday of May. My entire family gets together at a local park and spends the entire day catching up, eating and playing sports. It’s such a fun day. For May 10th, my brothers and sister spend the evening with my mom. We prepare a lovely dinner for her and get her presents so she can open them over a delicious dessert. I am a big believer that those whom have a mother-figure individual in their lives should love and appreciate them everyday. However, I do understand that life can sometimes become a routine and we can unconsciously forget to show that affection from day to day to those special people in our lives. It’s nice to have mother’s day be a day that reminds everyone as a whole to stop, and take a moment to show our special someone love and gratitude for what they do for others.
Over the weekend, David and I decided to head over to the San Francisco Premium Outlets in Livermore and do all of our Mother’s Day shopping there! We left the house around 8am and stopped for breakfast in Oakland. We arrived to Livermore right on time! There was enough parking (though, it was filling up super fast!) and luckily, the sun was not blasting just yet. We were able to check out tons of stores and shop around for the best deals. My goal was to find 4 presents total, and David had 3 presents to shop for. It was so much fun spending our morning thinking of the best gift for our special moms. I was so excited because I found the perfect sandals for my mom at Clarks! They had an awesome sale with a huge selection! I also got my sister a pair of the cutest Pumas at the Puma store for such a great deal! Honestly, David and I were so happy with our purchases for Mother’s Day!
Stay tuned on Instagram (DaisysFashionGarden) and Snapchat (daisysgarden) for behind the scenes of what I do for Mother’s Day on Sunday, 5/8 and Dia de Las Madres on Tuesday, 5/10!

Spring Hat
Hat: ShopKaliestrella ( code: SPRINGSTYLE )
Hi friends! I finally got to post this look and couldn’t be any happier with the timing! I am so excited to announce that I have teamed up with ShopKaliEstrella to give you all a special discount code on your next purchase! What better way than to start Spring rocking a new stylish hat. I decided to style this hat in the most casual and simplest way. I figured that sticking to my basic staples would show you an easy way to style this neutral hat.
I hear my sister express how difficult it is for her to style hats without feeling silly or like “she’s doing too much”, and I think I know where she is coming from. Since hats are sort of a flashy accessory that we carry around on your heads, we seem to get intimidated by that idea and find it difficult to style them. It’s okay… Let’s not think about it too hard. I styled this hat with a pair of classic denim jeans and a button-down top. The hat has a western vibe, so I decided to stick with that for the rest of my accessories and threw on a cute red banana and my favorite low top cowgirl boots.
Head over to my girl Kali's page and check out the hats! Treat yo self to something nice for the upcoming warmer weather! Post your pictures on social media and tag: #daisysfashiongarden & #shopkaliestrella

Top: Skunkfunk / Jeans: GAP / Pumps: ZARA / Jacket: Bebe
You already know I love wearing floral print. This top from Skunkfunk is totally my jam! I love the dark tones because I can easily dress it up for a night look. I paired this top with straight leg jeans for a more relaxed look, but threw on some sexy pumps for a touch of edgy-ness. Notice that I am wearing all basic staples, but this fun settle top really makes the outfit.
